It’s fair to say the US does not have as extensive a far-reaching history as most of Europe. Some of the most beautiful buildings in the world are arguably historic sites in Europe. However some of the ‘classics’ in the US are rather captivating and stand firm as their own icons. I love the domes in particular. I love Washington DC.

Heel recommendation – You’ll want to explore this city on foot so consider something more practical perhaps some boots. Generally surfaces are flat and modernised so evening high heels are a go.
