When you get to know a little sanctuary in the city, it’s hard not to take advantage of it where possible. To my delight I discovered a fairly simple but serene rooftop area at the Westin Palace Hotel in Milan. Apart from struggling to see my laptop screen in the bright sunshine (dare I complain!) it allows me to have a break from working in my hotel room and tan my legs in the process.
